Retail-related categories grew significantly over the past year in Europe, according to the comScore Data Mine. Visits to auction sites increased by 86 percent and reached 13.6 million mobile users across the EU5 region in December 2010. Shopping Guides is the second fastest growing category in Europe (up 82 percent), followed by General Reference sites (up 80 percent), and Online Retail (up 79 percent). The number of mobile subscribers accessing Women’s Magazine content (up 76 percent), Social Networking sites (75 percent), and Men’s Magazines (71 percent) was also up significantly in Europe.
